North Olympic Land Trust has some ideas for people’s gift lists.
Items that were on sale at its StreamFest Store may be purchased by downloading a form available from the StreamFest Store at northolympiclandtrust.org. All proceeds will help the nonprofit organization protect such special qualities as habitat for salmon and other wildlife, farmland, sustainable timberland, clean water and air, scenic vistas, open space and cultural heritage. Mailing and handling charges are $15 per order. Mailing will begin in late November.
Purchasers can save mailing and handling charges by coming to the organization’s annual membership meeting Dec. 6, where a small version of the store will be open from 5-6 p.m. at The Bushwhacker Restaurant, 1527 E. First Street. Read the rest of this entry »
