StreamFest Store still in business!

Streamfest Bag Streamfest Merchandise? Streamfest Hats

Logo blankets and reusable shopping bags are among items North Olympic Land Trust is selling for its ongoing fundraising efforts. A record number of requests from property owners who want to protect special qualities of their land permanently is behind the organization’s need to cover increased operating costs.

North Olympic Land Trust has some ideas for people’s gift lists.

Items that were on sale at its StreamFest Store may be purchased by downloading a form available from the StreamFest Store at northolympiclandtrust.org. All proceeds will help the nonprofit organization protect such special qualities as habitat for salmon and other wildlife, farmland, sustainable timberland, clean water and air, scenic vistas, open space and cultural heritage. Mailing and handling charges are $15 per order. Mailing will begin in late November.

Purchasers can save mailing and handling charges by coming to the organization’s annual membership meeting Dec. 6, where a small version of the store will be open from 5-6 p.m. at The Bushwhacker Restaurant, 1527 E. First Street.

Available from the virtual and membership meeting store are:

  • Blankets with dark green fleece and one side and black water resistant material on the other. When a 48” by 54” blanket is folded into a small packet with handles, it shows off a dark green North Olympic Land Trust logo on the black surface. Minimum donation is $30 each plus handling and mailing.

  • Logo sport caps with dark green bills. They are $15 each plus handling and mailing.

  • Dark green reusable shopping bags with the Land Trust’s logo on one side and Sunny Farms Country Store’s logo on the other. Sunny Farms donated the bags, which are $2 each plus handling and mailing.

  • Note cards with photos of protected properties. Packets containing five cards and envelopes offer assorted views. Custom orders of at least 20 cards also are available. Small versions of the photos are on the website’s order form Five-card packets are $10 and custom-ordered cards, $2 each plus handling and mailing.
