Bruce Moorhead - Board Member

Bruce Moorhead has been a resident of the north Olympic Peninsula for 40 years and serves as co-chair of NOLT’s conservation committee.

He retired in 1995 after 34 years as a wildlife biologist with the National Park Service, including 27 years at Olympic National Park, where he became quite knowledgeable about many of wildlife species found the Peninsula.

Since retirement, Bruce and his wife, Rosemary, have traveled widely to learn more about wildlife conservation in various parts of the world. In 2006, they created a conservation easement with NOLT on their property along Valley Creek in Port Angeles.
