David Morris - Vice President David spent his professional career with the U.S. federal government, mostly employed by the National Park Service. He began is career as a park ranger, then a wildlife biologist in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.During the 1970’s he worked in several planning positions, including 2 years as a Peace Corps Volunteer writing Master Plans for Malawi’s national parks and game reserves. Between 1970 and 1994, he served as a park manager in several national parks in Alaska, Utah and Oregon, including a one year tour as a park management advisor in Sri Lanka. He completed in Park Service career serving 8 years a superintendent of Olympic National Park. Between 2003 and 2006, David was the Peace Corps Country Director for Zambia. Over the last 10 years of his Park Service career, he had the opportunity to offer planning and institutional capacity building assistance to a number of countries around the world. David is now retired and living with his wife, Judith, in Port Angeles, Washington. They have two grown daughters and 6 grand children. |
