Celebrate the hands that feed you at the 19th Annual Friends of the Fields Harvest Dinner on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018.
Please join us for a special evening dedicated to raising funds for local farmland conservation. Together, we’ll enjoy a multi-course meal made exclusively with local ingredients by local chefs.
In recognition of those who tirelessly steward the land & nourish the community, we’ll honor the 2018 Farmer of the Year, selected by a committee of your fellow Land Trust members. Additionally, differing from past years we’ll be raffling off some incredible experience-based opportunities in lieu of the auction.
For nearly two decades Harvest Dinner has brought our community together in support of farmland and all that it provides, including access to the locally grown food, open space and wildlife habitat. Proceeds from Harvest Dinner are instrumental in the Land Trust’s ongoing effort to conserve the lands that define this place. North Olympic Land Trust has worked with willing landowners and the community to conserve more than 520 acres of active farmland.
Among our current conservation goals is a 132-acre farm in eastern Clallam County known as Wonderland & The 80. Wonderland & The 80 is one of the largest remaining swaths of land in active agriculture, and you can help keep it that way!
