Join us for the 27th North Olympic Land Trust Annual Meeting. This brief, yet informative community gathering is a great opportunity to hear about upcoming projects, recent successes, and challenges surrounding local land conservation. Guests are able to talk with staff, Board and committee members, ask questions, share ideas and provide feedback on the direction of the organization.
The Land Trust’s Conservation Director Michele Canale will be on-hand seeking public input on the organization’s draft 2018-2023 Conservation Plan. This plan prioritizes land conservation projects and provides steps toward realizing the Land Trust’s overarching 5-year Strategic Plan.
Guest will also enjoy an educational presentation by this year’s guest speaker, and join the Land Trust team in honoring this year’s Gary Colley Legacy Award recipients. The Award is presented to those that have proven instrumental to the Land Trust’s continual growth and evolution. Thus, we’re thankful for the opportunity to recognize the Land Trust’s skilled Stewardship Crew. The all volunteer crew is a critical component of the organization. Without the Stewardship Crew’s dedication, the Land Trust wouldn’t be able to responsibly manage its conserved lands, which is at the heart of the organization’s mission.
Light refreshments will be provided.
