On November 27th North Olympic Land Trust will be one of more than 40 local nonprofits united under the Olympic Peninsula Nonprofit Alliance, that together will fundraise for one day marking the first local #ClallamGives on #GivingTuesday 2018. Occurring globally, #GivingTuesday celebrates and supports giving and philanthropy.
The year-end giving season can be the lifeblood for many nonprofit organizations. Nearly one third (31%) of all annual charitable contributions occurring in the final month of the year – and 12% on the last three days of the year – it’s imperative for nonprofits to make the most of this peak giving season. This is especially true since 50% of nonprofits receive a majority of their annual budget from October through December each year!
