On November 27th North Olympic Land Trust will be one of more than 30 local nonprofits united under the Olympic Peninsula Nonprofit Alliance, that together will fundraise for one day marking the first local #ClallamGives on #GivingTuesday 2018. Celebrated nationally each year on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, #GivingTuesday kicks off the local holiday giving season by inspiring people to collaborate and give back.
The year-end giving season can be the lifeblood for many nonprofit organizations. Nearly one third (31%) of all annual charitable contributions occurring in the final month of the year – and 12% on the last three days of the year – it’s imperative for nonprofits to make the most of this peak giving season. This is especially true since 50% of nonprofits receive a majority of their annual budget from October through December each year!
