North Olympic Land Trust is excited to partner with Olympic Theatre Arts for the second consecutive year. From June 15-July 1, don’t miss the critically acclaimed, family-focused production Leaving Iowa.
“We’re honored to have the opportunity to collaborate with Olympic Theatre Arts,” said Tom Sanford, North Olympic Land Trust executive director. “Partnering on the production of Leaving Iowa is a great fit because it explores elements often discussed in land conservation, such as sense of place and changes in land use.”
The comical play is a toast to the idealism of the “greatest generation” and their undying dedication to the classic family road trip. Imagine gathering the family to travel across country to take Grandpa’s ashes to a final resting place only to find that Grandma’s house is now a grocery store.
