Upcoming Events

  • North Olympic Land Trust will be hosting a bike/hike event on Saturday, June 1, 2013 in honor of National Trails Day. The tour will visit five properties which are conserved forever with Conservation Easements. These properties are not normally open to the public, so this is a rare opportunity to see these beautiful lands.

In addition to visiting the easement properties, there will also be a 1 mile hike at Siebert Creek Conservation Area. The 38-acre Conservation Area is owned by North Olympic Land Trust and is open to the public for passive recreational use. Participants will see the results of a multi-year restoration project that has been taking place on the property.

There will be approximately 14 miles of biking and 1.5 miles of hiking on this tour. There are optional return routes for the return trip if participants want to make their bike ride longer.

The bicycle tour starts at 9am at Robin Hill County Park, Pinnell Road Parking Lot. If you want to do just the Siebert Creek Conservation Area hike, meet at 10am at the Olympic Discovery Trail parking lot at the end of Wild Current Way (off of Gehrke Road).
