Volunteers are essential to our success! Without their valuable help, many of the public events and outreach activities we take part in now would be impossible for us to continue.
The volunteer opportunities described here and on the volunteer form are just a few of the ways you can help. But if you have other skills or interests you’d like to volunteer, please contact us!
- Office Assistance – answering phones, mailings,
filing, database management - Events - including StreamFest, our annual celebration that also provides opportunities for learning and fun
fundraising - Stewardship - monitoring protected parties; work parties, tree plantings, invasive weed removal
- Committees - land protection, fund development, outreach
- Fundraising - researching grants, helping with fundraising events, entering information into data base, sending out acknowledgments
- Outreach and education - accompanying exhibit at events, helping with presentations to groups, meeting with public officials, developers and organizations
