Protected Lands
North Olympic Land Trust protects more than 1,300 acres of land with such special qualities as:
- Habitat for salmon and other wildlife
- Farmland
- Sustainable timberland
- Clean water and air
- Scenic vistas and open space
- Historic sites
Most protected lands provide multiple benefits. For example, farm and timber lands also provide important wildlife habitat, in addition to contributing to our economy and providing a link to our cultural heritage.
