North Olympic Land Trust is thrilled to announce that the planned elements of the 2020 Conservation Breakfast will be shared with the community in an online format! The 12th Annual Conservation Breakfast, one of two signature fundraising events for the Land Trust, was originally scheduled for April 2nd. The breakfast was postponed in mid-March due to COVID-19 social distancing measures. As the North Olympic Peninsula continues the important work of staying healthy and flattening the curve, it seems increasingly unlikely that we will be able to join together in large groups this spring. Therefore, the Land Trust has decided to present the Conservation Breakfast program in a series of three online events.
Here is a look at the basic structure of the events:
- Cougar Research on the Olympic Peninsula: Tues, April 28th, 10am, live presentation on Zoom – Watch the recording of this presentation here.
- Community Celebration of River’s Edge land purchase: Tues, May 5, 10am, live presentation on Zoom & Facebook – Watch the recording of this event here
- Outstanding in the Field Award presentation: Tues, May 12, 10am, live presentation on Zoom & Facebook – Watch the recording of this presentation here
Details about each event, including links and instructions, can be found by clicking on the links above or by visiting the individual listings on our Events web page.
The Land Trust’s goal is to make these digital events as easy to access as possible. Hosting online events for the very first time will involve a learning curve for everyone, and we thank you for your patience as we gain skills together.
