Winter Twig ID Class

Are you interested in plant identification? Have you wondered what the bare twigs you see throughout winter will grow into? Join NOSC in partnership with the North Olympic Land Trust as we host a winter twig identification course in Clallam County on Friday, January 30th. We will meet at the Lyre Conservation Area to discuss plant identification methods suitable for winter, when you cannot immediately identify plants by their leaves or flowers.
A second class will be offered in February at the Illahee Preserve in Jefferson County in partnership with the Jefferson Land Trust. We will cover the same material in each class. Please RSVP as space is limited.
