Second Saturday Stroll – Prairie Blooms

We had a wonderful Second Saturday Stroll this weekend, taking in the many prairie blooms along the trail! It was especially lovely to celebrate with so many amazing moms who joined us for the walk. One generous attendee even surprised the group with coffee and scones to enjoy after our journey down to the mouth of the Lyre.

Along the way, we encountered several notable native prairie species, including Biscuit Root, Nodding Onion, Menzies’ Larkspur, Bicolor Babystar, Pink Plectritis, and Wild Strawberry.

Join us again on June 13 for a Bee Walk, the next installment in our Second Saturday Stroll Series! More details coming soon.
