A day dedicated to giving back

givingtuesday-imageFollowing Thanksgiving and the days devoted to deals, such as “Black Friday” and “Cyber Monday” don’t forget about Giving Tuesday on November 29. Each year, this day marks the giving season, raising millions of dollars for good causes around the globe. Not only does this day encourage charitable giving, but it inspires good deeds, community service and kindness.

With the holiday season upon us, think about getting involved in your community by supporting local land conservation this Giving Tuesday.

P.S. A generous supporter has offered to donate $3,000 to match the first $6,000 donated by those that haven’t given within the past two years or have never given a gift to the Land Trust. Her hope is to build a community that contributes toward local land conservation year after year. Take advantage of this special opportunity before the year end!
