Did you know that studies have found that being close to a green space lowers stress levels? Join us for a morning of talks and activities surrounding the mental and physical benefits of being in nature. The event will reveal the installation of a series of permanent signs describing the intersection of health and nature.
This event and the signs were created in partnership with local Girl Scout Alyssa Pelayo for her Gold Award project. The Gold Award represents the highest achievement in Girl Scouting, recognizing girls who demonstrate extraordinary leadership through remarkable projects that have sustainable impact in their communities and beyond.
