From 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 30 Land Trust members are invited on an educational “walk & talk” tour at the Lyre Conservation Area led by longtime Olympic Peninsula forester Mike Hagen.
Together, we’ll walk through a mixed species forest at various stages of growth and learn about both management techniques and importance of coastal coniferous forests. At the end of the roughly 1-mile walk, we’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
Please note, participants must be comfortable walking up to 2 miles on uneven terrain.
To ensure everyone can hear and participate, space is limited. Please RSVP below to reserve your spot. A waiting list will be maintained in case of cancellations.
