BioBlitz are a set time where community comes together to experience and survey the biodiversity within a set area. From nature newbie to nature nerd, all skill levels and abilities are encouraged and welcomed!

Join us on Saturday, May 18 at the Lyre Conservation Area. Explore and record your findings at your own pace. From 11 am to 1 pm, Land Trust staff will be at the kiosk by the beach with snacks and beverages, as well as info about local conservation!

Please download the iNaturalist app on your smartphone and create an account. Any sighting that you record at the Lyre Conservation Area (not just during the BioBlitz) is automatically captured in a Land Trust project that helps our conservation team better understand how to take care of this landscape. Land Trust staff onsite can give you a demo on how to use the app, if needed.

Join the Lyre Conservation Area Project on iNaturalist to see what else folks have spotted!
