Second Saturday Stroll – Bee Buzz

June 13 at 10:00 am 1:00 pm

The season is buzzing with bees and has presented the Land Trust with a ripe opportunity to hone in on native bee ecology. Karla and Ingrid from the Washington State Bee Atlas will be leading a group on the Dungeness River Levee Road. This property offers a diverse opportunities for bees to create nests and forage. This event is designed to be beginner friendly and garner more interest in how native bees play a vital role in the ecosystem. By attending our guides hope to leave leave you with directions on the best practices to promote healthy native bee populations.

This stroll is weather-dependent. Please bring a full water bottle and be sure to dress for the weather. More details will be sent out to all those who RSVP.  Carpooling will be offered for the location. Meet at the Land Trust office at 9 a.m. for carpooling.
