Fall Harvest Celebration
Harvest season is the culmination of more than a year of planning, planting, cultivating, tending, and reaping the investment farmers on the Olympic Peninsula make in their land, their livestock, and their lives as producers of the food we are fortunate to enjoy.
Your donations to North Olympic Land Trust are integral to protecting farms and farmland and ensuring harvest season on the peninsula continues to be bountiful. Donate today to support your local farms, fish, and forests.
Thanks to our community’s generosity, more than 670 acres of local farmland is forever protected on the North Olympic Peninsula, including 64 acres of farmland as a part of River’s Edge in the Dungeness Valley. Your donations today allow us to protect more farms and habitats for future generations to enjoy.
While, the opportunity to reserve a Harvest Farm Share has passed, the Harvest Celebration continues until the end of September. So, please consider a gift for conserving the open spaces, healthy watersheds, and food resources on the Peninsula.
Thank you for your incredible support.
About the Harvest Dinner...
P.S. If you miss the Land Trust’s annual Harvest Dinner, please know that we do, too. While the coronavirus may have bumped this popular event for the second year in a row, it can’t stop the incredible variety of foods produced by local farms nor dampen the spirit of generous Land Trust supporters like you and your commitment to conserving and protecting the place we call home.
