Happy trails to two staff members

This summer, the Land Trust is wishing two staff members “happy trails” as their professional lives take them down exciting new paths.

Office Manager Navarra Carr will be embarking on a new journey in law school. Navarra was accepted into the Seattle University School of Law, where she will begin her studies this fall. Navarra is excited that she can continue to live in beautiful Port Angeles while taking classes online. Navarra tells us “I’m so grateful for the Land Trust for being the catalyst to help me move to our beautiful community, and to the amazing people who I’ve gotten to know during my time at the Land Trust. While I’m excited to embark on this new career path, it’s bittersweet to leave such a supportive organization and all the folks who make up our Land Trust family.”

Community Engagement Specialist Paula Hunt will also be staying true to her love of the North Olympic Peninsula. Amanda has accepted a position at Peninsula College, where she will be working as a Program Assistant for Athletics and Student Life. “I have gained so much from my time at the Land Trust,” says Amanda. “I experienced incredible professional growth, met some great people, and deepened my connection to the land of the Peninsula. I look forward to transitioning into a role as an avid supporter and volunteer for this amazing organization!”

We look forward to introducing you to two new staff members soon!
