We are pleased to welcome a new staff member to the Land Trust team!
Alex Wilson joined us this month in the role of Development Director. Originally from rural New Hampshire, Alex most recently worked San Francisco, where he was the Grant Manager at the Exploratorium – a learning laboratory for science, technology, and arts. Prior to that, Alex worked at LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired (also in San Francisco), where he wrote grants, created giving campaigns, and coordinated events.
“Alex is going to be a great fit at Development Director,” says Land Trust Executive Director Tom Sanford. “He has solid experience, strong people skills, and lots of enthusiasm.”
As a backpacker, birder, and kayaker, Alex is thrilled to relocate to the Olympic Peninsula. “I’m eager to learn from my new neighbors, explore my new home, and continue to fall in love with the land and waterways that makes this part of the world so unique and worthy of being preserved for many future generations.”
Please join us in welcoming Alex to North Olympic Land Trust and the wonderful community of the Olympic Peninsula.
