Thanks to this incredible community, we met the $55,000 matching challenge to support the conservation of the Big Red Barn Farm!
A special thank you to the two generous community members who made this challenge possible, helping inspire 66 gifts in support of the Big Red Barn Farm. And thank you to everyone who donated, shared the story of this special place, and helped spread the word about the importance of protecting farmland on the North Olympic Peninsula.
Buying the Big Red Barn Farm was the first step, and reaching this match brings us closer to permanently protecting the farm and its future as farmland.
As that work continues, we’ll share more about the history of this land, the people who have cared for it, and the important role farms and working lands continue to play on the North Olympic Peninsula.
