Description
Be an ambassador for local land conservation by staffing the Land Trust’s outreach/informational table and display at a variety of community outreach and educational events, like the annual Dungeness River Festival. Tasks include engaging with the public, answering questions and providing educational materials, etc.
Training
A one-hour training led by Land Trust staff is required prior to volunteering at an outreach event.
Frequency
As needed throughout the year.
Time
2-6 hours depending on event/outreach opportunity.
Skills
Must enjoy working with others and engaging with the public, ability to communicate clearly and answer questions about local land conservation/the Land Trust, and can provide own transportation.
